For decades Harlee has performed on stages all over the globe with numerous groups and entertainers, fulfilling his passion for playing music. Harlee’s music is rooted in R&B, Blues, Soul, Funk, Latin-Rock, Classic-Rock and Old Skool.


A former native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Harlee now makes his home in the Sacramento area.  The process of selecting seasoned musicians who could back up Harlee’s varied musical styles and maintain a personal chemistry at times was challenging, but through the process Harlee and the Sugar Daddies evolved and is a mainstay in the Sacramento music scene.


The Sugar Daddies lay down the groove that only a skillful cast of musicians can. These are carefully selected musicians of the highest caliber. This is evident when you experience the sound and pulse they lay down. The band members are: Randy Kruger on guitar and vocals; Larry Lopez on bass guitar; Jim Wendt on keyboards; and Keefe Gaspar on the drums.  Harlee on lead vocals, saxophone(s), guitar and anything else he picks up.
